CBN Deck Resurfacing - Aluminum I4

Cylinder Head Resurfacing is generally required during head gasket replacement.  We offer resurfacing with CBN cutting technology, which is recommended for MLS head gaskets.  We currently have our Vertical Milling Machine converted with Kenametal tool holders and CBN Tipped tolling.  Our surfaces has passed our surface finish inspections and are holding up to performance appliactions. 

Includes

1.  Heads must be cleaned / hot tanked before work.

2.  Fixtures on Camshaft Journals to be square with crankshaft centerline.

3.  Aluminum Heads use PCD Diamond for ultra smooth finish.

Attention:  

1.  If head is extremely warped please check cam journals for binding. 

2.  Oven Head Straightening available but not recommend.
